With its simple ZICRAL construction and quick setup, the SOL’R is an ideal tool for learning. Its two versions—“training slope” and “full-fledged flight”—allow students to begin their training with two wings that are intentionally designed to be very similar, thereby facilitating the transition from the training slope to full-fledged flight.
The Sol’R is designed to be educational and very easy to handle, starting right from setup. When carried, the wing is statically neutral at the ideal angle of attack for takeoff. During the flight, the wing quickly supports the pilot’s weight, allowing the student to use the same movements as during a takeoff. The wing is maneuverable, responsive, and has low inertia; although it’s stable on a flight path, flying it requires little effort. The Sol’R is a modern training wing that will help every pilot progress from the training slope to advanced flying.
The DHV certification applies only to the Sol’R M “long-distance flight” model
