Chariot - Alizé

single-seater pendulum

Comfortable, sturdy and all-terrain, the Alizé, our single-seater tilt-glider, makes it possible to exploit small fields and fly many hours without fatigue: motoring around, winding thermals or soaring with the engine off. This ultra-light tricycle is now the most comfortable and seamless single-seater for (re)discovering the pleasure of flying, with or without a motor. The compact, lightweight Alizé is fully foldable. It can even be stowed in the trunk of a station wagon.

Comfort AND simplicity

The simple assembly of the cart and the wings designed for it, means that the whole unit can be set up quickly. Equipped with large wheels, the Alizé takes off and lands in the countryside without a hitch. The front wheel is equipped with a brake to reduce landing distance and ensure smooth taxiing. The Alizé’s structure remains simple and light, combining stainless steel and aeronautical aluminum. The semi-recumbent riding position combines comfort and drag reduction. The adjustable hammock system makes the seat comfortable whatever the rider’s size, and lowers the tricycle’s center of gravity.

We will no longer be selling machines equipped with the Helvenco SA250 engine from 05/2026.

However, we will continue to provide after-sales service for Ellipse machines in flight to date, and remain a distributor of spare parts.

After several years of competition, the Alizé has proved its potential. Initially equipped with a CORS-AIR 2-stroke engine, Jean-Michel Serre took second place in the world championships.
In 2014, following the development and refitting of the SWISSAUTO engine, he took first place. This more powerful engine, while remaining very economical (4 litres/hour), will satisfy pilots eager for speed and travel. Then in 2020, a world distance record will be set, with 906km of flight without intermediate landing on less than 40 liters of fuel (the Alizé used was equipped with additional tanks).
